Georgia Children's Book Award

Established in 1968, The Georgia Children's Book Award is presented each year in March.  A selection of twenty nominees is announced each year, and students are encouraged to read as many as possible.  Students from around the state will vote on their favorite, so the winner is chosen by the kids who read the books!  Click here to see what Georgia Children's Book Award winners and nominees are available in our libraries, and scroll down to see this year's nominees.

* Please note that this particular list is chosen for 4th - 5th graders, and may contain more mature themes. *
